Introducing Codashram's brand new tag, the "pet project"! If you ask any self-taught programmer, you'll know exactly what it means. It's like the foundation of programming, where you start with building something out of nothing, armed with your coding skills and the blessings of time. You can solve any kind of problem that comes your way.
Now, let me confess, I'm a huge fan of pet projects myself. I always have this urge to start a new one. So, I began by searching for basic problems that we, as Nepalis, face every day. I wanted to create something that could be useful to others. So, I did some good ol' RND (Research 'N Development) by Googling "[domain] problem" with "in Nepal" added at the end. And let me tell you, I ended up with some eye-catching ideas for my pet project. 😄 😁 😆
But here's the twist: instead of taking the traditional route,
I want to do something different this time. As a developer, you always aim to create software that can be used by a trillion users (well, at least in your dreams). 😅 So, after releasing prosnottar.com and dheba.app, these pet projects helped me gain recognition and improve my software development skills. The older, wiser me now realizes that in those projects, I was focused on building the platform first and then trying to solve problems with it, without really considering if it would be useful for the users. Oops! 😅
But hey, that's all part of the learning process, right? So, with my newfound wisdom, I'm ready to embark on a pet project adventure once again and make something truly meaningful and helpful.
