Let's take a whimsical dive into the project's introduction, drawing inspiration from the fascinating folks at 6amcity. These cool cats are a hyper-local media company, working their magic by unleashing the power of communities through daily email newsletters. They gather up all the juiciest, feel-good local news and events, creating a positively impactful experience.
This statement resonates with my vision and serves as an inspiration for creating a similar hyperlocal community platform.
Picture this: a company bustling with an army of talents like content creators, news analysts, and marketing maestros. Their gig? They hand you a list of cities across the USA, and all you gotta do is hand over your email and name. In return, they'll send you curated, laser-focused content about the happenings in your neck of the woods. As I was reading their "About Us" page, I noticed that they have a strong focus on hyperlocality. One particular line captures the essence of what I'm trying to build for my pet project.
We are 6AM City. We're local everywhere, and we make it easy to celebrate the city you call home.
Now, let's bring that concept home. Nepal, a breathtakingly beautiful country, is where our adventure begins. We're on a mission to craft a simple, yet captivating hyperlocal community platform that'll keep us in the know about the pearls of wisdom nestled within our city. No more missing out on the high-value knowledge that our beloved town has to offer!
So now start about actual topic of this post Empathy Mapping
Recently, dheba.app and sewakoyatra.com were selected for Idea Studio Season 7. This opportunity has allowed me to learn about frameworks for developing scalable and profitable businesses. One of the frameworks is called Empathy Mapping.
Empathy mapping in my understanding, is a tool that help us to understand and empathize with your target audience or customers. It helps you gain deep insights into their needs, desires, thoughts, and behaviors. By creating an empathy map, you can visualize and analyze the different aspects of your customers' experience and use that information to design products or services that truly meet their needs.
