After 3 or 4 months of operating trader.avocado.com.np, I've learned quite a lot about NEPSE and the Nepalese economy. As one of my great friends says, "We're here to learn." Here’s a compilation of the key developments during this period:
Good use of TMS automation
Introduction of the strategy backtest feature
Separation of two environments
Migration of TMS quant logic to Laravel
Testing Node.js and Laravel together
I'm very happy that I was able to develop most of the features we currently have in Trader. During this time, I also had the chance to work closely with its users. It was a tremendous experience to resolve their issues. One major issue was that TMS brokers were using different script IDs. I managed to fix this for some of the brokers and was thrilled to develop a system that Trader trusted me enough to use their accounts for fixing the issue. I also had the opportunity to consult with some trading geniuses on the systematic and technological side. The advice I received was invaluable.
What next:
The reason for migrating from Node.js to Laravel for TMS automation was due to resource constraints. At that time, I was the only one coding on this project. However, things have changed. I've now found some of the best talent to help me work on this project.
Next in pipeline will be:
- Stock Demand & Supply Analyses
- Stock Screener: LLM based solution to study fundamental and sentiment of stock.
- Meroshare edis automation (not sure)
Note: All new feature will be developed in new system. It will not be available in trader.avocado.com.np
